April 11, 2009

In the hot summer every creature loves to go for hibernation. But unlike the frogs and reptiles we cannot got for it.There must be an alternative so that we can quench sun’s thirst. So Just get in to the pool.. swimming pool..
How do you feel if u see the world’s largest swimming pool…
There it is .. located in the San Alfonso del Mar in Algarrobo, Chile.

The San Alfonso del Mar seawater pool in Algarrobo, Chile has been named the world’s largest outdoor swimming pool by the Guiness Book of World Records. Not to be confused with The Deepest Pool in the World, San Alfonso measures almost 3,500 ft in length and has a surface area of around 20 acres. The pool is about the size of 6,000 backyward swimming pools.

It’s even got ferries to shuttle you from one end to the other. Oh, and no sharks either. It sounds terribly sexy to sit on the beach and have breakfast with sea sand and sun.

This pool is made with seawater and measures a salty 1,013 meters in length.

The area of the pool is eight hectares, or 19.77 acres.

Construction of the pool was completed in December 2006.
